Inspirat de Marisa Crawford’s The Haunted House, filmul de scurt metraj Deidre a fost creat initial pentru Printers’ Ball la cererea editurii de poezie feminista, Switchback Books. Deidre reuneste o varietate de forme artistice pentru a explora comic temele din “The Haunted House”, de la imaginile nostalgice ale copilului din anii 80-90 pana la sentimentul ca noi cei “din trecut” si oamenii din copilariile noastre raman cu noi ca niste fantome.

Inspired by Marisa Crawford’s The Haunted House, Deidre was originally created for The Printers’ Ball at the request of feminist poetry publishing house Switchback Books. Deidre brings together a variety of art forms to comically explore the themes of The Haunted House, from the nostalgic images of tween angst in the 80s and 90s, to the feeling that our past selves and people from our childhoods stay with us as ghosts.
